Classmates
Please sign up. This section is fun for all. You can search for a particular classmate and sort by Date of Signup to see new additions or Latest Edit to see revisions to earlier postings.
Due to privacy concerns, we have elected not to provide a link to a file of classmate contact information as we did after our 40th reunion. But one of the cool features of this website is the ability to connect with fellow classmates—assuming the necessary information is posted and kept up-to-date.
How to be found. To opt in to be found by classmates, you need to post or update a profile in the Classmates section, including name, current city, state, and email. It isn't necessary to answer any other question, like street address, occupation, marital status, hobbies, or children or to include comments—though your fellow classmates will be interested in this information. Your email address will be "blinded," and classmates can use the Send a Message link within each profile without learning your email address. They can also use the Where Are They Now feature to see a geographic distribution of class members.
If you've provided a profile in the past, sign in to your profile to see if we have an up-to-date email address and physical location for you. There is a username and password recovery feature if you've forgotten your log in information.
How to find classmates. Using the Send a Message feature is the best way to find Class of 1967 members. For those classmates who haven't posted a profile, you may use the Contact Us form to request that we pass along your inquiry. However, you will not receive a response if the email address we have is outdated.
Even if you do not choose to post a profile on the website, the database that class reunion planners maintain must have a current email address in order to inform you of possible future events. If you change your email address, use the Contact Us link to let us know.

Comment: Having reached retirement early, I'm finding my mind and body are still about age 30 and itching to do more in life! So, I got called to India last year and had a life-changing experience there. While my assignment was to interview women business owners, I found that they changed me more than the reverse. I have determined to raise funds for micro-loans so that these Indian women can feed families and find self-fulfillment. It has been a great experience. The NPHS reunion was a blast for me. I was in amazement at the depth and breadth of our class -- you all are a fascinating bunch! My high school years were not my fav, but certainly memorable and many great friendships were born.

What are your plans for retirement?: I'm hoping we all are able to embrace this dreaded birthday of turning 60! Who would have thought? Aren't we still younger than our parents ever were?? Anyway, I'm traveling east to meet with several of you who share this momentous occasion. Here's to never getting old! |

Comment:
Both my wife and I are now retired although my wife, Laurie, continues to spell the Lyme town clerk as needed for vacations and training. We have now resided in Lyme for nearly 25 years. Lyme is a small essentially rural community along the east side of and near the mouth of the Connecticut River. Both of us are active in the community. My largest commitment is being the Chairman of the Lyme Public Library Board of Directors. While this involves limited oversight of the library itself, it also now involves planning for a fundraising concert and reception in the Fall (2017) which requires much coordination and dealing with various vendors. While the library does require a lot of time, it has been a good way to meet others in town including a surprising number of published authors for a town of its size, who regularly speak at library events. My other community activities include being a justice of the peace and a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. We have also continued to travel but less overseas. Our immediate families are somewhat spread out-Southern California, Texas, Vermont and New Hampshire. We continue to find there is a lot to see in these areas as well as going to New York City for plays and shows and even around Philadelphia. For example, in southern California there is the Pageant of the Masters held each summer in Laguna Beach which we saw several years ago. Not something that one typically hears about, but it is certainly something to investigate if you are going to be in that area during the summer months. We are both looking forward to the upcoming 50th reunion. While it is always amazing to see the changes in the area each time we are there, I would also recommend that returnees look up the book "History of Nether Providence Township" which was published a number of years ago by the Nether Providence Historical Society. I suspect you will find a lot of things you never knew about the place that we all lived in for many years. |

Comment: When I graduated Ithaca College I came to New York, where I've been working in the theater ever since. It was hard not knowing anyone at first, but I'm part of the Broadway community 35 years later. I've been blessed to work with many of the great choreographers and dancers, as well as some fine actors. I get to go play with my friends, doing shows 8 times a week. It's hard work, but I love it. And these dancers keep me in shape!
Grandchildren: | none |
Hobbies:
Singing, behind the actors (they gave up trying to shush me). Gardening: my wife, Maria, and I have an old schoolhouse on an acre in Dutchess County. We have cornfields and a swale on two sides, so I'm developing a country garden to complement the views. Photography: A lot of impressionistic dance photos of shows I've done, and the garden flowers in the country. |

What are your plans for retirement?:
What! And give up my playtime with my friends? Never! |

Comment: Looking forward to seeing alot of folks in May that I haven't contacted for years. Hard to believe 40 years has passed this quickly. Having been with 3M for over 35 years, am looking forward to going a different direction in life. Part of the fun is not only using your imagination but also being able to try different endeavors without concern of family responsibility now that kids are self supporting. Ours are 28 and 25.
Grandchildren: | None |
Hobbies: Backpacking, hiking and walking with my wife, especially on the A.T. Still playing basketball twice a week and golf when I can.Hope to do more traveling and reading once my wife and I retire.
What are your plans for retirement?:
Hope to retire within the next couple of years. Am looking at several different areas of interest, one of which is antique clock repair. Will be going to a school of horology in order to pursue this interest. The other is volunteer work in one form or another. Still working with scouts as part of the BSA and looking to get involved with inner city ministry with a couple of organizations my wife & I support. |

I met my husband when we were in college. We married after graduation and have 2 children, a son, 26 years old, headed to graduate school, and a daughter, just graduating from college, and headed to Spain. We have lived in Pennsylvania, NY state, and Maine. Before moving to Maine year-round, we spent every summer here, so this state is special to us. |

Comment:
I've been married for 37 years to a lady from Ridley Park. Our two children completed college, and are married. Our Daughter is a School Counselor and Son is in construction management. After graduating from NPHS, I didn't have much direction in life, so I joined the Navy and quickly ended up in Viet Nam. The following 3 years of my enlistment weren't so bad though, as I was stationed in the San Diego area. When my wife and I returned to Pa after the Navy, we moved to Southern Chester County, and I worked for Eastern Airlines. Life has been mostly good to me, but my career has taken its share of twists and turns. We moved to the Atlanta area in '83 with my job at Eastern and have been here ever since. The Airline industry was almost as unstable in the '80's as it is now, so I went back to school in 84 at Gerogia State and earned a BS just in time for Eastern to fold. After Eastern I was a parole officer, while working on my MS at Ga state and building hours to be come a licensed counselor. I've worked in various settings as a counselor since 96. I currently work in a group practice and find the work very rewarding, and often wonder how I've had the good fortune to be in this profession...so I hope to stick with if for awhile. Very nice website, I just recently found it, and am enjoying reading all the comments. Best of luck to all. |
